Background
In the era of globalization which is marked by the complex social, economic, and environmental challenges,
the role of Islamic philanthropy, especially Islamic philanthropy such as zakat and waqf, is increasingly important
in realizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The concept of zakat and waqf, which has long been a socio-economic
instrument in Islam, has great potential to contribute to poverty alleviation, improving welfare, education, health, and
environmental sustainability if managed professionally, accountably, and innovatively in accordance with the dynamics of the times.
Responding to this need, the Faculty of Sharia, Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA) took the initiative to hold an international
seminar which is equipped with call for paper entitled "1st ISLAMI (International Seminar on Law, Muamalah, and Islamic Finance) 2025"
with the theme "The Future of Islamic Philanthropy in the Age of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". ISLAMI is a forum for exchanging
ideas, sharing knowledge, and building synergy between academics, practitioners, government, and society in an effort to advance the halal
industry, especially increasing the benefit of Islamic Philanthropy for countries development.

Dalam era globalisasi dan pertukaran informasi yang semakin cepat, pemahaman lintas budaya menjadi salah satu
keterampilan penting dalam membangun hubungan internasional yang harmonis. Fakultas Syariah Universitas Islam Bandung
(UNISBA) sebagai perguruan tinggi yang berkomitmen terhadap pengembangan wawasan global, terus mendorong terselenggaranya
kegiatan-kegiatan internasional yang tidak hanya bersifat akademik, tetapi juga memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya Indonesia
kepada peserta dari berbagai latar belakang.
Kegiatan kunjungan ke Saung Angklung Udjo merupakan bagian dari program internasional Fakultas Syariah UNISBA yang dirancang
untuk memberikan pengalaman budaya yang otentik dan mendalam kepada para peserta, khususnya tamu internasional. Saung Angklung Udjo,
sebagai pusat seni dan budaya Sunda yang telah mendunia, menawarkan kombinasi antara hiburan, edukasi, dan pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya
lokal yang sangat relevan untuk disampaikan kepada generasi muda dari berbagai negara.
Melalui kegiatan ISLAMI, Fakultas Syariah UNISBA tidak hanya ingin memperkenalkan warisan budaya Indonesia,
tetapi juga memperkuat nilai-nilai kebersamaan, toleransi, dan saling menghargai antar budaya. Interaksi langsung melalui pertunjukan
seni dan sesi bermain angklung diharapkan menjadi media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan berkesan, serta membuka ruang untuk dialog
budaya yang produktif.
Sebagai bagian dari program internasional Fakultas Syariah Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA),
para peserta akan mengikuti kegiatan kunjungan budaya ke Saung Angklung Udjo, Bandung — pusat pelestarian
budaya Sunda yang telah dikenal secara nasional maupun internasional.
Dalam kegiatan ini, peserta akan disuguhkan pertunjukan seni tradisional yang memukau, seperti tari-tarian khas Sunda,
musik tradisional, dan permainan budaya, serta diajak berinteraksi langsung dengan alat musik angklung dalam sesi edukatif dan menyenangkan.

Konsep zakat dan wakaf yang telah lama menjadi instrumen sosial ekonomi dalam Islam memiliki potensi besar untuk berkontribusi terhadap
pengentasan kemiskinan, peningkatan kesejahteraan, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan jika dikelola secara profesional,
akuntabel, dan inovatif sesuai dengan dinamika zaman.

Menyikapi kebutuhan tersebut, Fakultas Syariah Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba) dengan bangga mengambil inisiatif
untuk menyelenggarakan seminar internasional bertajuk “1st ISLAMI (International Seminar on Law, Muamalah, and Islamic Finance) 2025”
dengan tema “The Future of Islamic Philanthropy in the Age of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. ISLAMI (Internasional Seminar On Law,
Muamalah, And Islamic Finance) Fakultas Syariah UNISBA akan menawarkan program edukasi dan sertifikasi kompetensi. ISLAMI di Fakultas Syariah
UNISBA menjadi wadah untuk bertukar pikiran, berbagi pengetahuan, dan membangun sinergi antara akademisi, praktisi, pemerintah, dan masyarakat
dalam upaya memajukan industri halal di Indonesia.
Seminar internasional ini menggali gagasan, kajian, dan praktik terbaik terkait peran Philatntropi dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan,
serta memperkuat sinergi antara akademisi, praktisi, dan pemangku kepentingan di tingkat nasional maupun internasional. Melalui kegiatan ini,
diharapkan akan lahir pemikiran-pemikiran progresif yang dapat memperkuat peran institusi zakat dan wakaf dalam merespons tantangan pembangunan
global, sekaligus memperkaya khazanah keilmuan di bidang hukum, muamalah, dan keuangan syariah.
A. Tujuan Seminar Internasional

Menyediakan forum ilmiah bagi para akademisi, peneliti, praktisi, dan pemangku kepentingan di bidang hukum Islam, muamalah,
dan keuangan syariah untuk berdiskusi dan bertukar pikiran mengenai masa depan filantropi Islam di era Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan
(TPB).

Mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang strategis dalam pengelolaan zakat dan wakaf, sehingga mampu beradaptasi dengan tuntutan pembangunan
berkelanjutan baik di tingkat global maupun lokal.

Mendorong penguatan lembaga zakat dan wakaf melalui pengembangan model tata kelola yang inovatif, transparan,
dan akuntabel yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah dan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Memfasilitasi kolaborasi internasional antara universitas, lembaga keuangan syariah, badan pengelola zakat,
nazhir, dan organisasi internasional dalam memajukan penelitian dan implementasi kebijakan berbasis bukti di bidang filantropi Islam.

Meningkatkan kontribusi akademik Fakultas Syariah Unisba dalam wacana global tentang hukum Islam, muamalah kontemporer,
dan keuangan Islam, khususnya dalam konteks tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
